The students work in groups of five on each project. THe professor would like for each student to work with every other student on at least one project. Find such an assignment of students to projects.

Does this mean that the students can work with each other more than once?

That is allowed, but if you do it, you can't solve the problem. Each student works with 4 others on each project and there are only 6 projects. You have to work with a different group each time to work with all 24 students.

By the time the end of the semester yes. If each group has 5 people and there are 6 projects then by the 5th project you would've worked with everyone in the class.

With that many ways to choose the groups of 5 - no one needs to work with someone they worked with before.
