Cluster teachers, like for the NYC Board of Education, are teachers in elementary schools that teach a certain subject (ie. math, English, SS, or science). They have a schedule and go from class to class teaching their speciality. When they are in a class teaching, that classes main teacher gets his/her prep time. They are considered full-time teachers and teach their subject.
