It the same ole thing unless you take the time to look. Think about it walk up to any wall made of bricks. Take a moment to scan each brick, one will stand out. It has too. It may be it's color, or maybe it has some wierd design on it, or better yet it wiil be the one Brick in the Wall that... either; keeps the wall standing up or makes all of us notice the wall to begin with.

Really great body! The crude original saying was "She is built like a brick Sh** house". That was in a time when most outhouses were of weathered wood and a brick one was a thing of beauty.

All and all you're just another brick in the wall.

The metaphorical wall of defense between you and the world. With every brick (insult, criticism, blame, etc) you retreat from the world just a little more, become more defensive, sarcastic, aggressive yourself so people can't get too close.

a wall is made of many bricks, you never really see one brick, just the wall as a whole. So another brick in the wall means that one is just ordinary or unnoticed.

It means ordinary or average. Kind of like asking "how's your day?" and you answer "nothing special - just another day" or "just another brick in the wall".
