I see your point...but "google it" or more formally "to google" has joined the common lexicon. To google something means to look it up on an internet search engine.
In 2007 "google" was added as a verb to the 11th edition of the Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary. To google something means to look it up on an internet search engine.
Linguists said google is among the fastest words to enter the lexicon. It reached the pages of the dictionary just five years after its first known reference as a verb in a New York Post article. Usually, it takes 10 to 20 years for a word to enter everyday use.

properly, human beings are social creatures and couldn't live to inform the tale with out social interplay.
