well, not a memorial per say, but some sort of indication that it is a special place, instead of a destitute reservation?

The Four Corners of Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah is unique within the United States. The current Four Corners Monument is a relatively simple horizontal plaque denoting the quadripoint of the four states. There are concerns that a more elaborate structure could encourage vandalism and compromise the integrity of the monument as a survey benchmark.

There are hundreds of points in the United States where three states meet. Many of these points have a survey benchmark to denote the location. Some boundary points lie in a river or lake. A few boundary points have very elaborate monuments. Some of the most important boundary points involve just two states. The Mason-Dixon line between Delaware and Maryland is very historically significant. Delaware and Pennsylvania have a circular arc boundary.

Actually in NM they talk of the place where NM meets 3 other states. There is something there, but it has been so long ago that I was there that I cannot remember.

There is one. It's a pretty granite/bronze thing with some graphics and text on it. There's a slightly raised stand nearby so someone can take your picture with the classic - one hand or one foot in each state.
