Pregnant,HELP?

Question

I just found out that I am 17weeks. How do I tell my husband and parents and siblings. Thanks!!

How soon can I found out how many I am having and the sex.

Is it safe to have sex, and to what point. Can you have sex when pregnant with twins. Because I might be, twins run in my family.

tell your husband first he is suppose to be your support....now as early as 4mnths they can see how many and the sex..

I am not sure how to help with the husband parents and siblings things... although I think it's cute to give out bibs...they are pretty cheap. I.E. world's greatest dad (to your husband)...world's greatest grandma (your mom) etc. They will definintely get the message pretty quickly. You should have an ultrasound around 20 weeks at which time they should be able to determine the sex of the baby or babies. Sometimes one twin will hide behind the other but most of the time the doctor will know whether or not you are having twins based upon your size and uterine measurements. Good Luck and congratulations :) Unless your doctor says otherwise sexual activity is perfectly safe and normal right up until your water breaks. Just make sure that it is comfortable for you and that you don't spend a lot of time laying flat on your back.

Ultrasounds can usually determine the sex in about 3 months depending on whether or not your little one cooperates. Twins can be determined very early due to the way the fetus' look in the first ultrasound picture.
When I found out I was pregnant around the same time as you are and very nervous to tell my hubby and family... I bought a little book of baby names and put it in a greeting card for my husband... When he opened the card and saw the book he realized we were having a little one!!! It's the best experience and only will get better from here!!!

You should be able to find out the sex at 18 weeks some doctors like to hold out until 20 weeks or so...and if the doctor did an ultrasound he should've been able to see how many if not when you find out the sex they should be able to see. But keep in mind twins can hide behind one another. As for telling everyone the hardest person for me to tell was my mom.

I'm 19 weeks and I hade to tell all the ppl that I love and love me too, it's not all that bad it's a baby they'll all be excited believe me, I know it sounds scary bet once you get it done and over with you'll be gald you did. You should tell whoever your closer with either your husband or a sister, I started out with my fiance and then told my sister and then they gave me the support to tell my parents and Nana, and I was nerverous as hell but now everyone knows and they are all there for me and that's what you need. And for sex I know that my doctor says it's OK to have sex, put not all posistions are comfortable for me anymore but that's all normal, I know with one baby i can have sex up to 8 months but with twins I never did it, so I dont want to give you a false answer. Simply tell them. Sit them down and bring it to their attention when you all are eating or something. I am sure that they will be happy to have a new born in the family soon. Also you can very much have sex as much as you want when you are pregnant. Except in like the 6th or 7th month. Semen will stimulate a hormone that will cause premature birth. People have actually said that sex is better during pregnancy. You will not hurt your baby. Your baby is protected by your uterus which is a firm muscle. I would consult my obstetrician/gynecologist before doing things too wild.

Well i wou;d tell your husband when your alone because i think you remember how you tell your family . Get the rest of your family together and tell them all the good news . Its usually around the 20+ week you can tell the sex o the baby but go and see a doctor when you can have your scan because i had mine at 16 weeks so yours should be soon

At 17 week you probably won't be able to hide it much longer, so however you're going to break the news, it should be soon.

Your doctor can probably tell right now how many babies there are by listening to the heartbeat(s). In about 3 weeks you can get an ultrasound to tell the sex.

Unless there are complications, you can continue to have sex throughout the pregnancy.

First off you need to tell your husband a.s.a.p. he kinda was involved in that process. Parents and siblings...There's nothing they can do to change it if they like it or not so just let it out. Second, Your doctor will determine if its safe to have sex and if you are having twins you need to be especially careful there are enough things that cause you to have premature babies there's no reason to make more.

just come right and tell them normally doctors do an ultra sound around 17 weeks or 20 weeks depends on the doctor and yes you can have sex while pregnant even with twins unless the doctor tells you otherwise good luck and congrats

Well if you are married I am assuming that you are an adult who should be capable of just being honest and telling everyone. they should be excited unless there is a reason that you are afraid of telling them. and yes you can have sex as long as you are comfortable with it and you can find out how many and the sex between 14 and 16 weeks Good Luck
