Does it matter if a band has good looks?

i mean a band doesnt have to look good to me as long as i like their music what about you? I think thats totally wrong to go for looks not music

when the person sing well...u'll naturally think he's handsome but actually he is not so handsome...haha...i dun see looks one...voice should be the first thing i look at =)

You have to understand that the music industry is a, well, industry. Some bands (that really can sing, last for a long time), but others (or single singers), they just choose them for their looks, give them some songs to play, and put lot's of money to dump their music on the audience, and people go and buy their albums, returning a lot more money to the company.

Most people that are in a band are fugly looking. If I like the music, I'll listen to it.

It certainly doesn't hurt if good looks are involved. At least at a show. If I'm only listening to a group, then what difference does it make?

charisma matters more. real charisma: something interesting or fascinating in the band that adds a little of their character to the music.

if their music sucks they better be good looking, but if they have talent, I don't care if they look like they just got hit by a car.

let's see... prime exampe : System of a Down. They're pretty good but if you saw them walking down the street you'd fall on the floor and laugh your butt off
