I bidded on a new iMac 20" intel core duo computer. I was not the winner, and I got EMAILS claiming to be from "eBay" for second chance offers. The problem is I got emails from multiple email addresses, all on the same item: 330020395590. So one person puts this thing up for sale, I bid on it and I get about 5 different emails, that looks pretty compelling, asking me to accept the second chance offer. It does NOT show up in my Second Chance Offer section of My eBay.
I know this is a good chance to be a scam, but if it isn't I will be saving alot of money on my new Mac (50%!). I know it's hard to believe.

Alright thanks everyone that doubted me. I figured it out. The guy that listed the item (computer) is geniune, but my bid history is public knowledge. So these con artists somehow found out my email address and emailed me with a realistic looking email claiming to be from eBay. So I chatted with the "seller", which is more then one person!, and asked him to begin the "Offical precedure" - which involves driving out the Western Union and sending a money order. If I were to do that I definatly would not have seen that 1000 dollars ever again!
