Obviously 10% is not the norm..and also sodomy between man and man and also man and women is still sodomy.

It doesn't matter if you're straight or gay, what goes on between two consenting adults is none of your business or mine. The Supreme Court struck down that sodomy law, by the way. In my community, BDSM is acceptable sexual behavior. By your definition that makes the vanilla folk sexual deviants.

In one neighborhood in my city, the gay/lesbian/bi/transgendered population is about 80%. By your definition that would make the heterosexual's living there, sexual deviants.

The practice of anal sex, or sodomy as you call it, has been enjoyed by couples since the beginning of human sexuality. Doesn't that make the missionary style heterosexual sexual experience sexually deviant?

Consensual sexual experiences between any adult are not deviant. People who fear their own sexual power and want to control everyone else are the true deviants.

I'm not a sexual deviant.
You may think I am, but I know I'm not.....and my family, friends and coworkers know I'm not.
So just because you and I won't be having lunch anytime soon doesn't mean we're deviants and you're top-notch.
It just means you have a dirty mind because you think of the sexual acts of others before anything else.

Ok, lets take your definition. Anyone in a group that is 10% or less of the population is "deviant".

Only .3% of Americans are ethnically Slovakian. Slovakians would become "ethnically deviant".

5.75% of the Amerian population speaks Spanish. Spanish speakers would now be classified as "linguistically deviant".

3.3% of American citizens were actually born in Asia. Asian-born citizens would now be "birth place deviant".

3.4% of American men are now divorced. Divorced men are now "maritally deviant".

0.8% of the American population lists their race as Native American or Native Hawaiian. Indians and Hawaiians are now "racially deviant".

10.9% of Americans are veterans currently not in military service. Looks like the vets are coming dangerously close to being "civilian deviant".

And finally, 5% of American families live in poverty. They are now "standard of living deviant".

I would think long and hard if this is really a road that you want yourself and your country to go down. Are you prepared to socially eviscerate everyone who falls into a less then 10% designation? Is that right? Is that moral? Does that best uphold the belief that "all men are created equal"?

I guess that would depend on your definition of acceptable. I think sex between two loving and consenting adults - no matter what gender - is acceptable, you know why? Cuz we're adults and we all make our own decisions.

And I'd like to ask how would you even have a clue what it's like to be gay? Did you DECIDE one day you wanted to be straight. Did you just sit up in bed and say to yourself, 'ok I'll be straight for the rest of my life'? I mean seriously get a life. If homosexuals bother you that much then why do you spend so much time on this section of Yahoo answers? You don't have anything better to do? You could be out committing hate crimes or something and that way we could lock you up and not have to care what you think.

And if you think being gay is a choice, I ask you this: Why would someone wake up one day and decide that they wanted to deal with discrimination for the rest of their life, possibly be disowned by their family, lose their jobs, friends, etc. all over who they decide to love? Homosexuality is not all about sex just like heterosexuality isn't. Sex is just one part of the aspect. Do you think we just sit around all day and have sex? Seriously get a life. If you don't like it then don't look at it and don't sit in here and ask stupid questions you bigot.

No one actually knows cos people are still too afraid to admit it. Some are too afraid of what society will think of them that they deny it, get married, have kids then 20 odd years down the line they can't hide their feelings any longer so the marriage breaks down, and they've wasted the best part of their life pretending to be someone they're not just to please society!!
