Because they try to hard to be MCs getting the crowd hyped and involved. All that yelling affects their voice. Besides croning in an enclosed sound booth is a lot different from singing live in front of a live crowd.

It's because somebody invented this technology called protools which makes it so you can alter your voice and make it sound good and on key in the studio.
