People say it doesn't sound right, not enough in common, gross [blahBLAHblah]!
But, I believe when two people love one another age shouldn't be an issue (unless it's illegal, then yes it would be an issue) as long as each are 18 or older and understand the meaning of love.
I think if a 21 year old man loves a 50 year old woman and she feels the same, they should go for it. How do we at Yahoo! Answers know how much in common they really have? For all we know the 50 year old woman could love sex, going out, and partying. My grandmother is 78 and is still very active.
Only the two of you know if it is right to be together. And, I am certain that if you two feel the connection you should go forward with the marriage dispite what other people say because those "other people" don't have to marry someone young or someone old, it's the two of you and nobody elses relationship but you two.

To big of an age difference. The 50 year old is thinking about retirement while the 21 year old is just starting out. The young person might want children, while the 50 year old is most likely finished.

I have a 21 yr old son and I would be upset. I would talk to him, but I wouldn't freak out. I would be asking him "why" is she wanting to marry a 21 yr old. I do know that my son wouldn't be doing it if she wasn't at least "HOT" in his eyes. I do know that he does find older women attractive, but I do have to say they were younger than 50.

Come on get real ! When you're 26 she will be 55 on her way to 60. You will get bored quickly. The good part is she is probably past menopause so the air conditiner won't be set at 60 degrees like in my house.
In a phrase forget her unless you are just after money. Then again if that's what you're doing you ar a jerk anyways.

This is called an Edipus Complex, you might as well marry your mom. I don't mean to be rude, buy a 29 year gap is terrible. That is the age difference I have with one of my daughters.

50 yo women are horny as satan himself. She's in for a good time.
younger women around age 20 are too hung up on their virginity and being pure and goddess-like. where a 50 yo woman will get down and be as s1utty as a woman could possibly be.

I think men or women should stay alittle bet closer in age range for partners. But whatever floats there boat. I think there's to much of a age gap.
