Why is our courtesy?

This morning while i was taking MRT, 1 Pregnant woman was standing infront of a Male (PRC)Passanger which sitting with the letting someone who need the seat signage on top of him, an the other 2 passengers beside(both local male & female). All of them doesn't gave the seat to the pregnant lady, the PRC pretend to fall a sleep. And the others pretend to look else where. Its remind me when my wife have the same treatment, its really make me feel like using the 4 letters words to them... what kind of ppl in own home land??? Our Courtesy from Bad to Worst...

It is a sad thing to see such thing ocurring in SG. But basically, nowadays people are more self centred. The things that they do is " I " must come first so they simply don't bother what others need. It really sadden me coz when I was in my younger days, our teacher always teach us to give up our seat to somebody who needs it more than us but I dun know how is our education system now. Most of the ppl just don't bother how others feel. They are only concerned with their own need that's all

100% agree with Clown&Joker. Plus parents do not teach their kids. I saw a real situatian in the mid-class beauty salon. There was one cheir available and a woman,in her 50s, was going to seat. Next, a little girl,about 6-8 years old, runs and says IT'S MY SEAT, I WAS SEATTING HERE BEFORE. Wher was mother? Mother was beautifying herself. BUT,if mother tought her little shmo to courtesy, she would be polite.
