Green Day is the best because they are the most versatile of the bunch. Their songs vary so much and are always fun to listen to. As a runner-up I would have to pick Coldplay just because their music makes you feel so many emotions. You know that feeling when a song gives you goosebumps? That's Coldplay - and I love them for it!.
As for Linkin Park I would say no because they are too predictable. Yes, they have good songs, but they also have quite a few bad ones. Simple Plan - I'm just not into the hard stuff and they have too much screaming for me. Plus, they have about one good song on each album. Nickleback is good, but they are also average.
So....Green Day it is! Then Coldplay in a close second.

None of those shhitty bands can ever be considered "the best". They all suck. Best out of those is Evanescence, then Coldplay, then Nickelback. Nobody cares about the other 3.

Out of your own nominees, Green Day. In my own opinion, Korn is the best.
