Yes, they made it off the boat and onto the island - Gilligan's Island. Did they make it off the island? Yes, several times based on the many "back to" "return to" specials, made-for-TV-movies, etc.

Yes...they did get off the island.

after the series was cancelled with them still on the island...

In a successful 1978 made-for-TV movie, Rescue From Gilligan's Island, the castaways did successfully leave the island, but they had difficulty reintegrating into society. During a reunion cruise at the first Christmas after their rescue, fate intervened and the group found themselves marooned on the exact same island. It starred the original cast except for Tina Louise, who refused to participate and was replaced as Ginger by Judith Baldwin (who seemed much too young for the role, compared to the other actors). The plot of the movie involved Soviet agents seeking a memory disc from a spy satellite that landed on the island and facilitated their rescue.
# In a 1979 sequel, The Castaways on Gilligan's Island, they were rescued once again, and the Howells converted the island into a getaway resort, with the other five castaways as "silent partners". (Ginger was again played by Judith Baldwin). This sequel was intended as a pilot for a possible new series in which the castaways would host new groups of tourists each week, using the all-star cast anthology format made popular by The Love Boat. The series never materialized.

Yes they did. A couple of TV movies were spawn years ago like, "Return to Gilligan's Island". They had to re-cast Ginger since Tina Louise was on the "outs" with the shows producers and the actor that played Thurston Howell the 3rd ( Jim Buckus) had already past away.

They were never on the boat, LOL. They were on an island. It took a few reunion shows to get them off the island. The show was cancelled before they could film any ending to the series.

1st they were "off" boat from first episode. They were stranded on an uncharted island after boat (SS Minow) was damaged in a storm. So there were "off" boat right away. Show was cancelled so they never got "off" island however two TV movies had them off and back on island

I believe they did. I know I saw a later show that showed them all back on a boat headed home. It might have been a movie follow up or a tv show... not sure.
