All I can say is don't look too hard. I can't speak for men, but I know it can happen for women. I was thirty-eight, married eighteen years, had two teenage sons, and the long over due divorce happened. Went through what you are describing for a few years after the divorce. Every man I met had wants, needs, or more issues than one person should be allowed.
Now eight years later, I am engaged to the love of my life. I never knew I could love a man like this and can honestly say I never loved my former husband with the love I know now. Nothing can come between us. I know I'll love him till the end. Love can happen again, but don't be too eager in looking. Look at each and every date as a fun time at the time. Go out and have fun without looking too far down the road. Associate with women you would want as friends and let love take care of itself. Good luck and relax.

Sorry to hear that my friend. You know, lay off love for a while. You're not ready for that. Just be cool and easy with women and take this time to enjoy your life and freedom and go out and golf and fish and hang out with the boys. Have a few laughs and whine and ***** about life because it is a *****. Get it out of your system and somewhere along the line you will find a good woman again. When you do, she will be gentle with your heart and you will discover that you can love again. Make new friends, married and single and next thing you know is everyone will have someone they think is perfect for you and I bet that you will surely find a nice woman through some of your good friends down the road.
Sorry we live in such a shitty world but that's how it is today....everything and everyone is disposible....but don't give up...you will come to find that the best is yet to come.
