Yes, and I hate it when they say how are you. If I wanted them to know I would tell them. Another one that really bothers me is when they say have a good day. Most of them that say this don't even know me. Why should they care?

No not as much as I hated when I was a cashier saying 'thank you' at the end of the transaction and them saying 'yeah you too".

Gah! Sometimes I find it such a useless greeting because everyone says that to each other that it becomes a routine so just saying "hello" is replied with a "fine thanks..."

Yes. Happens to me only when you are walking by the person and dont have time to correct myself. They probably are thinkin what an idiot!LOL
