nope, it happens to a lot of women...as long as nothing else is strange about your period, don't worry. If you are really concernded talk to your doctor.

If this is something out of the norm for you, and it keeps up, you might make a call to your doctor. Otherwise, nope, many women have that same issue. I have a day, sometimes two, in my period where the flow can be that heavy.

I don't know your age, or your feelings about birth control, but I have found that being on the pill really makes my periods a lot lighter and easier to deal with.

It is best to change often. Toxic shock syndrome is possible if you don't change often.
