Ciara was born with a condition in which she has both male and female genes. I'm not sure of the name of it, but it's something uncommon, though not THAT uncommon. Therefore at birth she had both characteristics of a male and female, but the female characteristics were more dominant, so that is the life she is living. Whether "something" was removed as an infant I do not know.
