Grand Theft Auto is not a game an 8 year old should be playing and it's definitely not a racing game. That game (along with the other Grand theft Auto games) are rated M. I can't give specific details on what it is about but it is violent, you can kill people, steal cars, there are prostitutes in the game, you are free to do missions around the city in order to get further or you can do whatever you want and such. I'm sure there's more but that's the main points in the game. Plus if you read the back of the case it will tell you why it's rated M and you can even play the game yourself to see what's in it. Point is the kid needs to play games that are age appropriate.
