Well, who's custody is he in, if yours i would be calling the cops. If you have joint custody, you need to have a talk with your son, dont be selfish, do whats best for him

If you have legal custody, call your ex and tell him if your son is not returned by this afternoon at 3 or 4, you will call the police. You have let this go on way too long. You may be losing legal footing the longer you put it off. Get the lead out and do it now.
Once your son is home, if he still wants to live with his Dad, you can discuss it with both of them then. But your wishes must be taken into consideration, and right now, the law is on your side. Use it. Don't allow yourself to be bullied and manipulated.
Good luck

Have you talked to your son, directly? Are you sure your son wants to stay with his dad, or has your son's father kidnapped him. Yes, I am being serious. I would suggest talkiong to your son first. Then maybe go to the police and maybe a lawyer. I don't know the technicalities of this, but I would assume there was a reason his father doesn't have him full time, and someone had to draw up the legal papers. I will pray for you. Good luck.

My brother is doing the same thing. If you are the legal guardian of your son, you can charge your ex-husband (or husband) with child abduction. But if your son is 13 he can legally go to coart and ask the judge to live with his dad. I tried to do the same thing when i was thirteen, i've long since changed my mind, either your son is serious, or he just doesn't realize that he really want to be with his mom. Good luck and god bless.

Do you have a court order for primary resident?? If so, the child has to be returned, even if he is 15, you still have to go through the courts to legally change his residence..
If you don't have a court order, better get down to the court house quickly and put in a petition for primary residence. And hope he hasn't beaten you to it.
Like I said though, their are a lot of factors you are not putting in, need more info to give more advice.....

WOW! sweetie! Is this something that you may have showed him that you was stressed out as far as taking care of him? Do you all have joint custody or are yall married? Listen if not ands if so if he will take him and say no to you he will also raise your son to HATE you and that's the last thing we want.

That depends on the visitation outlined in your divorce. If his dad is not abiding by the visitation, then call the police and have your son picked up. Especially if your son is young.

if your son is under the age of 18 and you have primary custody, pick up the phone and call the police, show them your papers and they will go get him. if he is over 18, he is of legal age and there is nothing you can do depending on the state you are in. i would call now.

Call a lawyer or legal aid and see what you can do. Otherwise deal with it. You need legal action in cases like this, they can get messy.
