Please, tell me what you think of the 1997 Titanic movie. I love it!!!

My favorite movie ever...saw it 6 times in the theater,....and a million more times at home....to me it's more than just the love story...

Excellent, the movie is about Rose and Jack, not the Titanic and their romance is a tale that is so TIMELESS it's a tearjerker movie but I loved it more because of the fact that it tugs at your heartstrings, even some of my macho guy friends loved the action. But it's not as romantic as say "The Notebook" or "Life Is Beautiful" but it's a very close third.

Yes apart from the Hollywoodish love story the accuracy of everything from the carpets on the floor to the dishware in the dining rooms is dead on. Take it as a historical drama and try to forget the love story part of it.

The overall story was good but the characters were slightly predictable. The only character that intrigued me was Molly Brown. The visual effects in the dining room are stunning though
