Hi, I'm planning on leaving town tomorrow to go to Gold Beach with my family. I've been there before and looked online, but I can only find one hotel in Gold Beach and three in Brookings and I can't remember where we used to stay. I'd like to pay less than $65 a night. There are two adults and one infant. Can anyone help me find a place?

It's been a few years since I went through there, but in my experience there were several motels in Gold Beach, and a dozen or so in brookings. Often the ones not listed online are the ones that are cheaper ... just ask to see the room before you rent it, so you can make sure its clean and to your liking. Enjoy!

There is a beautiful Hampton Inn in Crescent City, Ca which is right across the border from Brookings. It is right on the coast and is fairly new. I don't know the cost. That is where I stayed. They serve breakfast which helps offset some of the cost.
