laser treatments- talk to a dermatologist specializing in cosmetic dermatology, not a "normal" dermatologist- listed in phone book.

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.
Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged.

Intensive Pulse Light (IPL). Its non-evasive and has lesser side effects than laser and electrolosis. Less painful too. The only things are you need a few visits and you have to keep away from the sun after treatment for some time because your skin will be very sensitive.

Electrolysis will do it, but it's expensive and time-consuming. Laser hair removal takes repeated treatments, and you can shave or wax inbetween treatments if you need to. Neither is covered by health insurance, because they are considered cosmetic. Some people have luck with a prescription cream called Vaniqua.

Electrolisis- laser hair removal
kind of expensive but it works.
They just put a gel on your face and use a laser to do a series of flashes over the gel and then you're done. NO pain.

Laser treatments are the best bet but are not really completely permanent yet.
