The world is still waiting for Bush to respond to the Iranian presidents debate challenge and the World already reached a verdict. That evil liars like President Bush, have not the talent, or the means to engage in such a debate. Because, engaging in such dialog, will only be expose the liar and evil man that he is. Even more so to the blind bats who he calls supporters or followers in America. He finds it hard to even string a sentence together in his own language, let alone take part in a debate. What chance does he have with the educated Iranian president.

The World will do it's up most best to see that no harm comes to Iran and the Iranian people. We know of your history, your culture and heritage. You are a proud people, there is much to be proud of with such wonderful art and literature. Our love goes out to you and your people. Please, tell them that we are thinking of them and that our thoughts are with them, always!

Most intelligent people who live in the U.S. do not fault the Iranian people for their leader's rhetoric or actions. What we fear is that Iran's Supreme Leader, the Ayatollah Khamenei, and his partner in crime, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, are not only interested in having hegemony over the entire Middle East, but have in works a plan to unleash Armageddon which some Muslims believe will bring about the return of the Mahdi. That is why the West and the Arab states fear Iran's acquisition of nuclear power.

Iran has been known to interfere in the internal politics of Lebanon by supporting Hezbollah's war against Israel. The whole month of July is proof of that alone. Hezbollah is basically an extension of the Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard. I also suspect elements in Iran were also responsible for hatching the Beirut bombing which led to the deaths of 241 U.S. soldiers in 1983.

Iraq is another example of Iranian interference. Whether the U.S. was wise in it's invasion of Iraq and it's less than stellar post war plans is defenitley open for debate, but history has shown nothing really goes according to plan in war. However, Iran's support for Muqtada al-Sadr and his Mahdi Militia is not helping the cause of Iraqi peace and stability.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has not been very wise in making threats to wipe Israel off the map. The U.S and Israel have a duty to protect their citizens and if that means attacking Iran's nuclear capability, after we've negotiated until we're blue in the face, then so be it.

Hopefully a new Iranian revolution will take place before this can happen. Perhaps one day a new Iranian government will be created that will actually reflect the desire of it's citizens who want to live in peace. The U.S., though, has to prepare for the possibility that the worst outcome will happen.

I wish I could tell you that people don't hate your country, but unfortunately I would be lying. Most of the time when people talk about Iran, they are ignorant of the issues and are more interested in affirmative action, like in Iraq. I can guarantee you the educated public knows better then to assume, or underestimate Iran's capabilities or possibilities. You also have to understand the other end of the spectrum. Iran has attempted to impose itself into a lot of international deals that has made a lot of countries unhappy. Also the threats your government has issued do not help this situation. One thing that irritates the rest of the world is your countries confidence in militaristic ventures that are either unwarranted or unsupported. I do not mean to insult you by saying this, but I am telling you my opinion of this situation. Iran is very independent, and countries like the USA do not have influence over Iran, due to obvious conflicts of interest. So it is expected to have a backlash on your country by these governments, as there is a backlash on these governments from your leadership. It is all politics, you can not take anything personally.

Many are puppets but who is their master? If the meek shall inherit the earth it would be a good idea to find somewhere safer to live. Where? I really don't know. Do you have access to a really deep bomb shelter? Some in your country believe they are the key masters and gatekeepers. This is dangerous for everyone. Personally I would rather move Israel here and have nothing more to do with the middle east.Eventually they will kill each other off fighting over the Holy land. Than the dead will be as the sands upon the desert and they will become the fuel for the fires of their own arrogance and hatred. Allah willing. What makes you think we worship George Bush anyway? Wake up and smell your own coffee. Keep us posted on the better half of your country and don't give up on trying because we still have a democracy here............. for now...sorta.

Hotep, because the West is firmly Judea-christianity, and their own holy books states that israel is the holy land and they are gods "chosen" human beings. also, the state of israel isn't something more beneficial than the extension of western beliefs and skill into the area at an important position. Israels area provides the west a armed forces presences in north africa and the middle east. notwithstanding, more beneficial to the reality, israel administration the politics of the west by funds. The international banks of the west are headed, all of them by using jews. subsequently, israel isn't displayed in a damaging mild, in spite of what israel does. Salaam, shalom, peace

Religion is what's wrong with most of them (belligerent Americans). Religion, ironically, has destroyed human reason, compassion and justice in the name of compassion and justice. Americans are not immune from the social and psychological effects of misguided mythologies.

Religion is a scourge upon humanity-- it seems.

I think, from a geo-political perspective, President Bush went into Iraq clueless about Islam in the area. He didn't know there are Shia and Sunni and consequently had no idea that the Shia were the majority in the country he was trying to bring democracy to! Our President is a moron. He realized he messed up; the Shia will prevail in Iraq and then there will be two Shia power-houses in the Middle East (Iran and Iraq). They are in panic mode now trying to discredit your country.

There are many Americans who want peace. We fight everyday with the Americans who don't want peace here in these forums. Don't give up on peaceful Americans and we won't give up on peaceful Iranians!

That's a damn good question.

First off, don't believe for a moment everything you read in this forum.

However, a nuclear armed Iran is a very scary thought - not because I "don't even know your country" - but because I feel I know what Islamic Fundamentalists and Muslim terrorists would do if they possessed nuclear weapons. And Iran hasn't exactly been very outraged or vocal in condemning what these radicals are doing in the name of your God.

It is not the Iranian people...most of us more intelligent people know that most Iranians want democracy and don't agree with your president.....I don't want to spell his name wrong...well anyway...he is a dangerous man that does not threat to eliminate America and Israel....but promises too...so that imam can come back to life...he says he wants to bring on the Apocalypse...he says he will use his WM D's...the only way we can all avoid this as far as I can see is that you the Iranian people stand up, you can make a change in your govt you need a regime change and it better be fast!!!

Perhaps people are angry because your Prime Minister wants to wipe Israel off the map of the world. How would that be done? With nuclear power, maybe? He has not spoken in a peaceful, friendly way, and makes people suspicious of his plans. That's why ordinary people get afraid of Iran. Governments are something else. They have plans and strategies we don't know about, at times, and motives for doing things that we don't always agree with. I hope that the problems between Iran and other countries will be dealt with in a peaceful way, and Iran doesn't use nuclear power against Israel or any other country, and nobody will think it's necessary for their safety to use them against Iran.

We know your country alot better than you think. I know there are alot of good people in Iran, but if the people of Iran will not stand up to its own government when they see what direction it is taking. I'm afraid we cannot sit back and wait to find out if Iran will make good on their threats.
