Job experience (knowledge or personal encounter) refers to any work you have done (volunteer or paid) that involves people, data (information and numbers) and things (machines). For example helping people (washing them) in a nursing home is experience with people. Working with data and things could be experience (or knowledge) with computers.

well if you are trying to add job experience to a resume, you should only add jobs you've held that can be related to the job you are applying for, for example if you worked in a bank as a teller and were applying to do something in the financial field, then you would be giving them relevant job experience. if you have NO relative job experience put all the other stuff on there and during the interview talk up all of your job responsibilities in those positions--- if they ask. if you are filling out something for a scholarship app or college app- put everything you have ever been paid for in your life- babysitting, waiting tables, washing cars, etc.

Your on the job experience at a job that has paid you, the kind where you have to fill out a job app. I do not believe that means babysitting of yard work UNLESS you are applying for a job in child care or doing landscaping

having worked. possibly an internship. possibly your own business, or mowing lawns. Sometimes your job experience (like maybe waitressing) is not considered very relevant for the job you seek (maybe chemical engineer) but it is job experience. the more relevant and related your job experience to the job you're seeking the better. If you don't have experience, get an internship to obtain it (work for free for someone to get the experience you need).

anything that you have done as a life skill, housekeeper/ you cleaned your house for so many years, that would count as housekeeping experience, for those that start out looking for a career late in life or for a teen looking for their first job. you can include any church work, training etc
