Shorts, at least until Mid/late October. When the daytime temperature doesn't get much above 10º, shorts start to lost their appeal somewhat. (When i had a car i'd still wear shorts until at least November, though.....and sometimes even into December. But it's a bit cool to be walking anywhere in shorts in December.) I'll start wearing them again in April or May, when the snows have melted and the temperature gets up into the teens.

It depends on what I am doing. I like shorts when I am just hanging out but I like to wear pants or capris to school. I prefer capris, though
