Well, it sounds like he likes you-probably a lot. But, it also sounds like 2 possibilities are also going on. Either his friends don't approve of you very much (maybe because they don't know you yet-or are afraid of "losing" him to you). so he acts like he isn't that in to you around them. OR maybe when his friends are around he gets self-conscious and doesn't know what to say &/or how to act around you when they are there too. Because he thinks you'll think he's an idiot or something or because he thinks they will make fun of him if he does/says the wrong thing to you. You said he's known you've liked him since last year, now is he acting differently than he was last year or about the same? If it IS differently, then I'm almost POSITIVE he likes you. I'm betting that since he's known for that long that his friends do too. That would definately explain why he acts differently towards you when they are around, maybe they assume that he still doesn't like you that way & he doesn't know how to tell them or is afraid to let them know. You could either try to have one of your friends find out, (well NOT the ones that uhh helped you w/him b4 though) from HIM if your afraid to ask or you could try to talk to one of his CLOSE friends. But since he already pretty much KNOWs how you feel it'd probably be best if you could find the courage to somehow ask him yourself. You don't have to be direct about it, you could ask him if he wants to hang out or go to a movie on______, and see what he says. Or you could ask him for his phone #/e-mail if you don't already have it. Good luck!!!!

Ok, I see you have a typical problem for people your age. Here's what I can tell you. You "like" his guy, and you are unsure if he "likes" you. Correct? That is the amazing thing about kids, you look at "like" as "love" and often confuse the two. Kids today exp. at your age, take relationships to seriously. So here is the best thing I can tell you. Avoid "heartbreak" stick to being friends with this guy. And think about realtionships when you can handle one

personally it think he only likes you as a friend..i mean normal guys if a girl leaves notes in there lockers dont go and tell the principal. they "talk" to the girl or "filirt" with the girl or ask the girl "out"...i mean goin to principal is like so not likish.. any way thats wat i think.. rest is up to you. you can try asking him out or some thing

At this point he's confused...the cat is already out of the bag so...just 'fess up and tell him(in YOUR own words) how you feel about him. There's nothing like straight-forward honesty.
