We had no problem with FEMA taking care of the 6 hurricanes we have endured over the last 2 years. But then again our local and state officials are not inept boobs.

The real duty of FEMA is to protect the federal government from the American citizens, once a strongly anticipated uprising occurs, not to protect the people.

Hey, instead of relying on the gov to save your butt, why don't you try, and take responsibility for your own safety. When you're told to evacuate, then by god you'd better do so promptly, instead of standing on your roof during a flood, expecting everyone else to take care of you.

No, I don't. It's obvious could careless about National disasters since they have done nothing to recreate a smarter and more efficient disaster plan.
