Get the flashlight from my kitchen and open the attic door.
Shine the light around until I see what was making the noise.
If I can't find out what made the noise I'll go back to bed.
If a giant raccoon is in my attic I'll close the door quickly and will probably call the police to shoot it.
If a prowler is in my attic I'll do the same thing (close door, call police).
If there is a tree that crashed through my roof I'll call someone that can start repairing my roof.

First i go to the kitchen and cook some popcorn. Then i go up to the attic and watch uncle herman dismember the cheerleader he abducted earlier.
