You can take "dry ice", which is CO2, and add it to water.
It'll make a fog... great for special effects.

Pressurize the water with CO2. The water will absorb it.

That's why when you open your bottle of pop, and relieve the pressure, much of the CO2 escapes right away. The rest will bubble out till it's gone.
