Hospitals, associations, finding a cure. Why do they need 6 $100,000 cars? I don't get it. Houses the sizes of malls? What the heck? Why are they even making that much money?

Many celebrities are all about Me, Me, Me. I have to have the big houses, 10 zillion cars, boats, homes in Rio, Paris to show that I'm important. And they need them to think they are important to themselves. When they do donate money, they make sure the public knows. They need to validate themselves.
There are those, though, who do great things, not in front of cameras or large audiences.
And, as for why they earn all that money for doing what they do, I don't know. They aren't saving lives or curing cancer or facilitating world peace. They aren't even teaching a child to read, or helping an elderly person to maintain their balance so they can walk, or responding to a fire or an armed robbery in progress. Those people deserve more money and more recognition.
But, no one ever said that life was fair.

I think a lot of the richest ones do. The only thing is for some crazy reason they think it is so cool to give and donate and carry on about Africa. It seems that if they are so into other country's they should move there and be famous there and then they can donate to the USA and help the poor and sick here.

Most celebrities DO donate to various humanitarian organizations.
If they don't...that's their business. And their karma.
And perhaps you should wait until you yourself can afford 6 cars and a house the size of a mall before you define generosity.

A lot of them do donate money to different charities. Some are selfish and stuck on themselves, but i think most celebs donate their time and money to a lot of worthy causes!

Many of them do make very generous donations and do lots of charity work. But if you were a multi millionaire, I'm sure you'd like the finer things in life too..........

they don't donate alot because they are selfish, and when they do donate they proably think they are the bets people in the world even though hey donated $1 million out of billions

I AM SERIOUS!!!! They are on cribs showing their 14 carrot gold beds and ceilings and they could have given that money to the poor and had a normal house!

I'm always thinking the same thing. And they have the NERVE to complain about taxes on there 14000 gift bags at the Emmys.
