Give me a specific example. or are you being 'disreputable' with claims you can not back up?
Furthermore, is it ok for other networks to promote a leftist polical agenda?
I watch fox, and others, like cnn. It's amazing how slanted the others are. I'm talking about the straight news. It is the least biased news out there. I'm not talking about shows like O'reilly. That show is based on his opinions. Watch the general news show, and you won't make that statement anymore.

For the most part, I believe the majority with that opinion are the ones watching Fox News while all the leftist-owned and operated news channels like CNN are on commercial break. Does that help?

Really....they never claimed they had documents that showed the apparent AWOL of a president (CBS) or declared a victor in a presidential election before all polling stations were closed (CNN) in order to sway an election.
I would just love one source that you can quote that shows the network is biased or where they lied...all of you lefties are the same...bash Bush, bash FOX news, but nothing to back it up.

Oh do tell? What do you consider "the scope of legitimate journalism"?.....left wing propoganda news?
Fox is as legitimate as any other cable news outlet, but it does seem that there are some people who feel threatened by it. Perhaps it is because they are the most watched of all cable news stations.

The only thing "Fair & Balanced" about Fox News, is that its conservative spin to the right balances out the liberal spin to the left you get from the rest of the TV news.
Anybody who gets all their news from one source, isn't getting all the news!

No. Snopes and Politifact cleared up this rumor. short version clarification: "Rumors have circulated in view that a minimum of 2009 claiming that the Fox information cable television channel fought effectively in courtroom for the superb to lie, deceive, or deceive visitors. The declare that Fox information legally gained the "suitable to lie" has been repeated around the internet even with its being factually erroneous on greater beneficial than one point. The meme surely centers around a lawsuit related to a Florida Fox-owned associate, no longer the national community or cable information channel. The case to hand did no longer contain the national Fox information cable channel (the case notably PREDATES the Fox information cable channel's contemporary 24-hour insurance. additionally, the activities that led as much as the "Fox lies" case weren't regarding the station's day by day programming; fairly, the legal conflict to which the rumor refers develop right into a pair of husband-and-spouse reporting team (Jane Aker and Steve Wilson) who objected to being in contact in an unaired tale approximately bovine develop hormones (BGH) by using what the pair believed develop right into a company conflict of interest. The newshounds claimed that they were unfairly terminated from their jobs for "resisting WTVT's tries to distort or suppress the BGH tale. Dictionary.com
Disreputable–adjective
1. not reputable; having a bad reputation: a disreputable barroom.
2. discreditable; dishonorable.
3. shabby or shoddy; of poor quality or condition: disreputable clothes.
So is your point that they are a biased new source (which in all honesty most if not all are)?
Or is it that they are disreputeable and they do poor quality work?
I think these are two different things.

Amazing! I know I've read at least two books regarding the mainstream media's left wing bias. (Goldberg/Stossel). But we all KNOW there is NO bias on the networks, don't we? I've said it about 1000 times on this board--at least you're given opposing viewpoints on FOX. You then make up your own mind.
I recently read Katie Couric was quoted as saying how she believes the American people are interested in the interviewer's views on the subject (not) and want to "be steered" to their conclusion--believe me--I'm steering CLEAR of Katie.
