It's better to be loved.

The person who is feared by others may be powerful and respected, but it's also a very lonely one. Fear isolates us.

I'd rather find confort in knowing that someone out there enjoys my existance, even if they may step on me every once in a while, rather than be left completely alone, and lonely. Such an empty existance is not worth living.

Being feared may last longer, but that's a negative point since everyone wants to be loved at least once in their lifetime. Being loved, on the other side, may not last as long a being feared, but is a lot better, you feel better and others feel better towards you because being loved changes your attitude in a positive way and others feel it. Being feared can make you even more aggressive than what you used to be to get feared, since you don't get any love and may get too much into your role a being feared. When you're feared, people will always try to take your place, so when you're at your weakest, they'll get you out of where you are. When being loved, people will sympathize with you when you're at your weakest.

It is better to be loved- Love is not a controlled emotion. You cannot make someone love you. You can force someone to fear you by intimidation or by showing cruelty- what good is that? You still don't have their guaranteed respect. Fear is not the same as respect. And how do you figure fear lasts longer than love? Not in my world.

When I fear someone I am their enemy.
When I love someone their enemies are my enemies.

Fear makes me feel angry, manipulated and while I may follow their instructions out of fear, I won't go out of my way to help them and I will consistently look for their weaknesses and ally myself with others who feel the way I do. Eventually they will look away long enough for the dissatisfied mob to tear their throats out.

I will cut slack for people I love. I will follow them to the end and pick up anything they are having trouble carrying.

I have had bosses who use fear and some who are loved because they were fair and good people. The ones who are loved have the most productive crews, the most dedicated workers and less discipline problems than the ones who use fear and have only a bunch of unhappy workers.

Using fear to control people shows a lack of imagination and an inability to work reasonably with people. It shows a lack of empathy, a disregard for others, a lack of fundamental people skills and a very poor self image, needing to inflate their own ego by deflating the worth of others.

LOVED!!! Yea, i guess fear does last longer...but love can make the same kind of impact, just in a good way. No harm in that! The world needs as much love as it can get right now anyway, lol.

Love is better because the one who loves you will be loyal to you even in your absence but he will betray you if he is afraid of you when you get away from him...

Fear doesn't lasts longer that love because fear is ended with your death but love doesn't

No, i dont believe that at all. Real love stands the test of time, and i would rather be remembered as being loved, even if it was only for a day, then to be feared.

Fear and love are both powerful emotions. But it would be better to be loved. Because if you are feared, you can't be loved.

It depends on what kind of person you are. If your a sweet person that's really outgoing then i woud say to be loved. If your don't like to be around people or just don't like other people then i would say to be feared. For me I would want to be loved because i'm really outgoing and love to be around people.
