This snake is very aggressive and I have not been able to locate the type of snake online. Anyone have any ideas of what it could be? It was seen in Southern Florida.

Thank you. Finally someone asked for an ID and gave a geographic location.

Anyway it sounds like either a crowned snake or a coachwhip.

I agree with the coachwhip answer... Indigo snakes are that large but are not aggressive, and they are the only large bi-colored snakes I can think of.

most likely a whipsnake or ratsnake but i would have to see a pic
