I had one a year ago and i got bored of it in a week.

MySpace was recently purchased by Rupert Murdoch and News, Inc. who are best known for the FOX Television Network. They paid a very large amount of money for it which means they intend on recouping those costs in the long run. At the same time they still haven't invested in servers capable of handling the site during peak hours (thus the constant errors), suffered a blackout due to the local power company and had no backup plan in place and are becoming more commercialized by the minute.
So it depends on what you mean by over. It will be there for a long time but as far as being a friendly little community run by an individual then yes, it's over and was the minute it was sold.

My husband is in the military and since we're moving around that much it actually is a great way of staying in contact with people.
