Even if your service provider allowed you to send it, it'll almost never go through and even if it did, it would take for ever for you to send it, unless you have a T3 or faster Internet connection and almost nobody except for the biggest companies or Internet providers have that.

Burn it on a DVD or split it and burn it on CD. That's the best way.

If you are using Windows XP, it's simple to create a ZIP file:

Select your big files in Windows Explorer. Go to the File menu and select Send To -> Compressed (zipped) folder

If you are using a Mac, then just select the files using the Finder, right-click and select the "Create Archive" option

To send the files use a site such as MailBigFile http://www.mailbigfile.com/

First log on to download.com and download...zip unzip software..for free............then zip ur file and nowdays you can send ur file up to 1GB via your Yahoo messenger 8 (Latest at the moment). Just make sure .....the other person has the same version...and its very easy to send the file...all you need to click on the big icon displayed in the IM box named send file and then browse the file and ..........thats it....

PS OH! the other person should have the same zip unzip software to unzip the file before using it.

You need to check first that the person to whom you're sending it will be able to receive it. If you both have gmail accounts it won't be a problem but most accounts have between 1 & 20 meg or even less.

One GB by email? You're joking, right? Most people have email accounts with smaller mailbox sizes, and many ISPs limit the maximum email size.

Find a better way.
