The pigeon is sitting there right next to my fence and my parents said its been there since this morning. i dont want to scare it away.. but im afraid its hurt. maybe its laying eggs! idk. help! thanks!

It's probably hurt...... if it stays there a cat will get it.... then no pigeon in your backyard.........

Let nature take it's course. If it's hurt, it might recover with a bit of rest. If not, some predator will undoubtedly come by and release it from suffering. Ever notice how many birds there are, but very seldom will you come across a dead one. Strange, is it not?
