I currently run a website. I use banner advertisers (Valueclick, Casale, Advertising.Com, Euroclick.Com, Reamedia, Rightmedia and Revenue.Net). Can anyone suggest any other honest agencyes for banner ad revenue or any other forms of revenue generating methods for a website operator?

The best place to go is with SBI. They provide all the tools to make your own website in one place, and to profit with it too.

It costs $300 for one year, but you can return it within 30 days for a full refund and keep the domain name if you wish.

By the way, banner advertisements annoy people, and generally make you very little money.

well, first i'd get a chart that shows how many pople visit the site, once u do that, you have somthing to show people who advertse things on the web. If you have enough people, and they ar pleased with the topic of you site, they will run avertisments on ur it, and pay you for it.

i'm guessing, i'v never done this

so i read your question again, and another way to do it is find a supplier, and buy some products from them, put them up on your site just on the side, and people might buy. Some sell t-shirts that are related to the topic of the site.

Hi.

I need to know more about the products & services you are selling. But in general you're selling or providing a free products or services that attract visitors to your web site. Because of the number of visitors to your web site AND the potential audience to advertisers, you're able to sell ad space on your web site. I guess that's where companies like Valueclick come in to help you create and manage that ad space and relationship with the advertisers.

So logical next step would be to increase your set of products & services (e.g. adding a chatroom or games) or enhance the existing services. Find a need or frustration that users face. Offer it as a free service to attract them to your web site.

Now all of this depends on your kind of business but consider:

1. You can add a java-based (preferrable Flash-based) chatroom component that displayed ads off to the right while people chat. If the component is resusable, you can allow others to use it in their web sites but with it displaying your ads - increasing your reach to customers.

2. Partner with other web sites like Yahoo or Google. Offer to advertise there logo and/or products or services in exchange for search & directory services or whatever.

3. Enhance of the positioning of your ad space. Allow visitors to review ads inline without having to go to a new page. Allow them to read other user reviews.

I guess the possibilities are endless but they depend on what business you are in. For example, a how-to cook web site could offer visual recipes online with video clips of users posting their own way of cooking same recipes. And you could provide a clip of the week or something for each recipe.

Best wishes!
