Assuming that all is well with the router and both machines can at least access the Internet. Obviously each machine must have a unique name...you did that right?...then.

You enabled "File and printer sharing"? Control panel, Network, double click on your wireless card and the "File and Printer sharing..." is checked?

Next, you just need to access the other machine.
If your host computer is named, "TheHost" and the laptop is named, "LapTop". Try to do this from the LapTop: Start, Run..., and type \\TheHost into the box and click ok...don't forget the backslashes (\\).

That should show you something. The next question you might have is about security. if everyone is able to get to your printer and your don't have security enabled on your router,...then I could drive down your street, connect to your network, surf and print.

Hmmm, the network setup wizard should do the trick but here's how to do it manually....

Go to Start>Setting>Control Panel and click on the System icon.
In they sytem properties window go to the computer name tab and click on the change button. Each computer has to have the same Workgroup name but different computer names. Once you have done this restart each computer.

Now on the computer with the printer go to the printer and faxes icon in the control panel and right click on the printer you want to share. Select sharing and select share this printer.

One the other computer go to the control panel and go to the printer and faxes icon. Select add Printer. Make sure you follow the steps to connect to a computer on another computer.. its pretty straight forward. You browse to your other computer and select the printer connected to it.

Good Luck...
