(this is a spoiler) they stop fighting over him after he joins orochimaru. then in the naruto II manga they fight over the ninja who took sasuke's place on team seven. his name is sai and he is part of ANBU

I don't think so. I mean they matured I'm sure during the time skip, but it seems that Sasuke is the deal breaker for those two former friends. I always thought that Ino went best with Shikamaru. As for Sasuke and Sakura.. I am not really a fan.

Yah.. There are many videos in Youtube that shows Ino is happy with Chikamaru while Sakura is happy with Sasuke..
