It's interesting he's not being cooperative and claiming his arrest is religious persecution. In a way he is right: if you were an ancient aztec and you were arrested for doing human sacrifices, that would also be religious persecution. But not everything people want to do under their religion is legal, and people will be persecuted if they practice them

So long and short of it: you can't hide behind a religious persecution claim if what your religion allows is illegal.

Some people aren't even aware of who this guy is. I saw a story about him several months ago on America's Most Wanted.

I think it's fantastic that he got arrested. What a sick individual.

He never should have been arrested and brought to the US. They could have done a DNA test in Thailand and found out that they had the wrong person. It cost a fortune and was another dead end.

He deserves it, considering he committed biogtry, which is illegal in America.
