Sex is not over rated it is simply over used. People use sex as a way of saying hello. It is not special anymore. Instead of sex being a physical representation of your love and allegiance to each other it has become almost something people feel they must do weather they want to or not. I miss the days when you had the one special person who did everything they could to make sex beautiful in all ways not just physically.

Sex cetainly is not over-rated. It can be the most incredible thing with the right person. It is a huge part of a relationship. It can help relay emotions that words can never do at times. With your lover you can become one during sex or just relieve stress.

I don't think that it's over rated, but it certainly gets complicated at times. We attach so much importance on what is supposed to be a simple intimate contact that it sometimes takes away from the basic feelings of delight we garner from it.

In general, it IS overrated among society since people have been having "one-night stands" or crap like that especially when it comes to guys just using women for that. THEN, it is extremely overrated. It has no meaning with a person that doesn't seem to be right for you or treats you like crap.
With the right person, it won't seem overrated and that "right" person could feel the same way as well.

i think more importance is placed on it than is needed. movies and TV make it look like people are on their backs 24/7 and that usually just isn't so. sex with someone you love is great, but sometimes i would rather sleep LOL
