We are Five girls that decided to visite Egypt for two weeks, however what my qeustion is that is it safe to visit egypt , because we are going alone and we are young,party girls.

Egypt is generally very safe but if what your looking for is a party scene it might not be the best place for you to go. If you do decide to go I would stay in cairo or in sharm el-sheikh. They tend to be a little more used to people who are looking to "party." Also your lack of definition on the word party makes this whole matter rather ambiguous. I can't tell if you like to go out dancing, drinking, looking for sex, all of the above two of the above... or what? Egypt is not big on alcohol so to find that you will need to stick to the more touristy areas and the hotels. If you like to dance then that may lead to an unsafe situation unless you are also looking for sex at the same time then you will have no problem. In general I would say you will be safe but Egypt is not exactly the best place to dress provocotively. And to the stupid comment about arab women and how they are treated just ignore it most of them are treated extremely well and every society has abusers including the US. How many times do you turn on the news to hear another story of how another woman has over come the trauma of years of abouse. just earlier tonight I watched a thing about an amish girl who had been rapped by her own brothers multiple times and was told to pray harder instead of them getting a just punishment! I do agree that you would be safer if you had at least one guy going with you but if what your really looking for is a party 24/7 atmosphere you should just go to cancun.

Egypt for 5 young party girls??? Umm, might I suggest somewhere a bit more friendly to parties. Don't get me wrong the country is great and there is ALOT to see and experience, but it's mostly cultural ans historical stuff. The country is pretty safe, but I would stay in a group, and be on the look out for swindelers. There are people who will go to any lenghts just to get your money, and they'll say "It's the best price in town." Which usually means it's 10 times cheaper in a market. You can barter with just about anyone for anything. But again I say, If you are looking to party area head to South East Asia and the Thailand. It's safe, it's fun, and theres amazing beaches.

My friends went to visit Egypt within the past few years. They were required to hire escorts. You might want to check with a travel agency to see what is proper.

Surely you can find a safer place to visit than the Middle East when there are wars and terrorists everywhere. Go to Switzerland or Canada or anywhere other than the Middle East.

i would not go if i was you. and if you do go i would listen to the other Answer`s. and get a very big and tuff body guard. and a big and tuff escort. because a lot of the men over there like to rape most women.
