Honestly, no. Would I rather they didn't test cosmetics on animals? Yes.

Most companies don't test finished products on animals any more, but they DO use a lot of ingredients whose safety has been tested on animals...by someone else. Just because you buy a "not tested on animals" cosmetic product doesn't mean that never at any point has any ingredient or prior formulation been tested on an animal. They just haven't done it themselves.

Absolutely! Arbonne products use voluntary human testing only. We also don't use any animal products or by-products in any of our stuff, from the cosmetics and skin care, to the nutritional supplements and anti-aging lines. We also don't use artificial dyes or fragrances or harmful levels of chemicals. These things are becoming increasingly important to more and more people everyday as they become aware of just what those things in the ingredients lists can do to you. If yuo want to be sure your products are safe, just pick one that is tested on human volunteers, not poor unsuspecting gerbils.

i'm no longer conscious that there are continuously secure possibilities to animal testing. as an occasion, if my toddler by risk ingests a lipstick from my handbag, how do i understand if she's poisoned herself if this elegance has on no account been examined on an animal? Do I basically take a wild wager and desire she'll be ok? i think of no longer! Or if I by risk get somewhat mascara on my eyeball whilst i'm utilising make-up until now a activity interview, do I basically assume i would be ok and not circulate blind, as each and every so often befell in until now situations whilst testing wasn't required? back, i think of no longer! Or assume i might desire to take a pill using fact i've got been ill. Do you think of i pick to be the "guinea pig" who first tries it out? as quickly as extra, i think of no longer! No, i admire animals as lots using fact the subsequent guy or woman. however the undemanding actuality is that i admire human beings extra. I additionally understand somewhat something approximately historical past, approximately what used to take place whilst issues weren't examined earlier to sale to human beings, and what the possibilities could be to no longer bothering to objective products until now merchandising them. and that i do no longer look after those possibilities. That suggested, i'm no longer confident that it somewhat is definitely necessary to maintain particular standards as they exist now. as an occasion, the 50% rule. If eating an entire lipstick isn't poisonous, I see no reason to proceed stuffing try animals packed with lipsticks until their stomachs or intestines burst -- until 50% of the try matters die horribly in this way -- just to fulfill this synthetic common. we are able to have humane and sensible try standards, i've got self belief. yet i'm in choose of testing. yet i'm no longer confident that there is all persons nonetheless conscious on the FDA. those days, they have dropped the ball on various significant drugs and made some somewhat undesirable judgements. So getting their approval is now no longer sufficient to convince me that something is a sturdy deal. Sorry.

I'm definitely more apt to purchase a product that has that they don't test of animals proudly displayed, although I'm not particularly looking for products that aren't. If i had to decided I'd always go with the one without the animal testing. : )
