If none of those work your power supply is probably bad

Looks like you don't have power to the computer so start simple make sure it's plugged in and there is power to the wall socket.Check the switch the other guy said to and check power level switch (110/220) should be 110 for U.S. Also make sure the power cord is good at both ends and can conduct.Don't know if they have a power fuse if they do check and see if that is still good after that stuff I'd start looking for a new power supply or take it in to have it checked out could also be a bad power switch.Do you have a lot of add on cards they might be drawing too much power for the power supply .Good luck!

Check your ABCD Lights in the back of PC Tower, What Colors are they? Then check Dells Site to troubleshoot in the forum, I have been reading alot on yours in the Dell Forum, and the same answer keeps popping up, "Power Supply is Faulty" , Sorry I use a Dimension 2400 so my expertise is limited in your case. But the Dell Forums are great to troubleshoot, and they have good help and advice there also.... Good Luck

Fremen: on the 8300 Series, there is not a power switch on the back, by default... You would have to cut a square in the back of the case to get the "switch" Box to install.
