Just seen a new study out today on Yahoo news regarding the telephone and people being able to tell who was calling...(I don't mean as in caller ID). But....like when you think of someone and then they call....should be right on the news area....Stranger than life, and should captivate your audience, being that it is a new area of study. You don't know how many times a teacher has to hear the same old crap in school over and over in peoples papers. Think about how many times a subject matter has been research and how many times your poor teacher has read about that subject. Best of luck....(go for something unusual)

I was always fascinated by the way people seem to live up to their names. Maybe you could try to determine whether it's actually the name that has the effect, or the fact that individuals who pick these names, then raise the offspring with the expectations associated with any particular name, while the outside world looks at Bubba and figures anyone named Bubba must demonstrate Bubba like characteristics.

ive been thinking about this but havent read stuff about it yet. though weeks after i told my friend about this, he told me that he has read that there was/is a pychologist who studied this phenomenon:
people with similar features most of the time have similar attitudes/habbits, etc.
