would you be upset if your husband didnt want to wear a wedding ring?

Keep in mind that he works in the medical industry and would have to take it off and put it back on constantly.

My husband has such a cheaters line when he takes his ring off it's obvious he's married so I don't mind when he has to not wear it at work. Go lay in the sun this nice 3 day weekend with your ring on. Maybe that will make her feel better. Or you could wear it on a necklace or something. Your just gonna have to find a solution with her cause if she's not happy and thinks you want to look single, your not going to be happy!

Yes I would be upset. My husband can't wear his ring at work either, but he keeps it in his wallet and brings it out when he gets out of work.

Remember Mr. and Mrs. Smith. Brad Pitt kept his ring off while working, then put it on when he got back home. Your wedding ring stands for your vows.

And from some of your last questions, you don't sound like you abide by them much

No, not at all. His safety on the job is more important to me than worrying about whether someone will mistaken him for being single. When my husband was doing mechanical work on a submarine, he had to take his ring off on more than one occasion because he was afraid of it getting caught on something and injuring himself in the process. Other than that, he wears it all the time. Besides, even if his ring is off, he has a tan line from the ring itself so no, it's no big deal.

Yes. To me, a wedding ring is an important symbol. My husband loves to wear his and wears it proudly. He goes to the jeweler often to get it cleaned and tells me he likes having something that shows other people he's married. He didn't wear one in his first marriage because he wasn't proud of his wife. If you go to the effort of taking your shoes on and off, it shouldn't be difficult to stick your ring back on when you get off work.

I would want him to wear one. However, some professionals cannot wear a ring due to the nature of their jobs. I would try to be understanding about it. I would probably want him to have a wedding ring to wear when he is not at work.

I would be very upset, it is a statement of our love and vows, it's a symbol of our unity, he (hubby) even agrees with me.
Why is it so hard to take the damn thing off (if it is required in your profession) when working, and put it back on when your shift is over??!! That's what my hubby does and he's a head mechanic for an industrial company!!??
He religiously removes the ring after clocking in, locks it in his desk, puts in his 8 or 10 hours and puts it back on before clocking out. When he walks in the door he proudly announces ' honey, your hubby is home".
We are proud of our marriage and show it with our marital symbols.......the ring!!!

I worked in the medical industry for several years and never had to remove my rings. I know several doctors that never remove theirs unless they're performing surgery. I can name several nurses that never remove their rings. I could understand removing it if your job had dangerous equipment or machinery...But the medical industry? Nah! What's really going on with you, mister?
