i agree a woman & im not just saying that because im a woman!
but i only think that as a grown person i think as far as the teen years go boys have it harder!!.....just my opinion!....definatly being grown as a woman is tough i am so tierd right now i get up at 5 to take my son to foot ball practice come back home get my daughter & nephews up & take them to school come home again do laundry dishes & all that crap then pick all the kids up one at 3:05 one at 3:45 one at 5:00 & the other at 6:00 then go home again cook supper make every one take a bath & pick up the husbands dirty shirt he takes off when he walks in & throws it down because hes so tierd from sitting on his butt all day at work...lol...and thats all an easy day when i dont have doctors or dentists appointments & grocery shopping and i could go on & on but i think you get the point...being a man has to be easier than being a woman!!

I probably would have to say it's harder beingg a girl. And I'm not just bein modest. Guys can just go run around and get other girls pregnant one after one. We are the ones left with the baby. We are the ones trying to make ourselves look good for the guys. We are the ones that usually cleans the house while the guy is out with his buds. We are the ones who have to go through pregnancy (and I have heard it is a pain in the @$$). We are the ones who have periods and can't go swimming if we are afraid of a tampon. We are the ones who have to wear bras to support our chest. We have to work harder to get the weight off of our stomachs while some guys just stay skinny! We are the ones who half to carry extra stuff while guys don't(a purse).
Now the advantage of being a girl. We don't have the thing down there that gets in the way sometimes and really hurts when is kicked or hit down there.

In the old stereotypical world, a man's role seemed harder as he had to provide for his family, and the woman took care of the rest.
It was hard on a woman then, but I think it's harder to be a woman in these times because it seems more is expected of them. More women now have to bring home the bacon, raise kids,do the laundry, clean the house-the list goes on and on. Being a man, I know how hard I work to take care of my family, but I feel it is expected-nonetheless,I stand in awe of the things my wife accomplishes in a day"s time. Sometimes I am ashamed of how other men treat their wives-they go to work and think that's all they need to contribute-come home, slob out,and get uptight because mom doesn't have dinner ready, fuss because their favorite shorts are in the dirty clothes........
The one thing that sticks out in my mind about women is this-who was at the cross when Jesus died? It wasn't the disciples=they were chickens because they feared being arrested-Mary and Mary didn't care whether they were or not-they were there and stayed throughout.
I've rambled enough-- you have a tough job but hang in there, O.K.?

If you look around today. You will see that it is harder to be a woman nowadays. The responsibilities of men have stayed the same where women have proven to be able to do as much as a man including managing children, supporting a home, working full-time, keeping ourselves up and our families happy. What women have a hard time doing is delegating some of the work to their spouses and children if old enough. Yeah It is a 24hr job. I don't know a woman who gets a day off.

Its kinda both....my reasoning.....
1. Women: for all the reasons in your description but also because there is no defined role for women. Because of our economy we have to get out there and work and most of us want to have a career....however there are still those men who think we should do everything else as well as work full time so that makes things difficult.
2. Men: Women have a tendency to expect men to read our minds. THEY AREN'T MIND READERS LADIES! When you are mad at them tell them why.....don't just give the the silent treatment or better yet look at them and say..."If you don't know then you must not care!" Although men can be complicated at times.....but not like us women so don't expect them to "get" what your implying without some kind of explanation.

There is more pressure on women to become all those things you are talking about. Women are made to feel like they have to be beautiful, thin, perfect mother, great wife/girlfriend, always nice-or you'll be called a b**ch, maid, sex object, and all around perfect being. So, yes it is harder on a woman because society makes us feel like we have to be those things. If women would just stop giving in and be themselves, and make the MEN clean up their own damn messes (hubby I mean YOU!), then it might be a little easier.

Yikes girlfriend...you're the only one that makes it hard being a women. LOL.....you do all that stuff? Why doesn't your man help you out?
NE way I LOVE being a women, well single women that is.....dudes will do anything for a hot girl! I can't tell you how many times i have worn a low cut top and gotten guys to jump over backwards for what? A hello a nod of acceptance? I am talking about perfect strangers here....so being a women is soooooo very cool and easy when you're dealing with the opposite sex. :P

It's harder being a women. Not only do we do all the things you mention, but as a career woman, you have to prove yourself, before you can be considered as an equal, and for all these reasons, I know that even though it's much harder to be a woman, we are better than men.

You said it. Being a Women is much harder than being a man. I work all day, come home to cook, clean and take care of the kids. He just comes home from work.

;from the outside looking in, one would be inclined to say a woman has it harder. i might also be more inclined because i am a woman. we do have all the physical pains to deal with throughout life,i.e. childbirth, periods, menopause and the list goes on. but let us not forget that our men do not exactly have it easy. men are looked at as having to always be the defender, the protector, the one that puts his life on the line in a bad situation. some men were not even brought up to easily show emotion, so they have to deal with that emotional pain of always holding it in. men have their fair share of hardships, they will always be looked at as the default breadwinner, and so on and so on.thats why we have female and male genders, we are like a puzzle, the parts fit perfectly together, to balance out or hardships.
