Ladies and gentlemen, hobos and tramps.
Cross-eyes mosquitos, and bow-legged ants.
I come before you to stand behind you to tell you of what I know nothing about.
There will be a meeting tonight, early in the morning at the women's club...men only.
Admission free, pay at the door. Pull up a chair and sit on the floor.

One dark night in the middle of the day,
Two dead boys got up to play.
Back to back they faced eachother,
Drew their swords and shot eachother.
The deaf policeman heard the noise,
And came and shot the two dead boys.
If you don't believe my story is true,
Just ask the blind man...he saw it too!

My father taught this to me when I was a young girl. Just wondering if anyone else ever heard it before.

Hi!
I am 43 years. Yes I definately remember that. My father is from Columbus, Kansas. We all live in Missouri now. He is 70 I think. He taught me that when I was young. He also taught me others, one is this:
There was a big Molice Pan
and a bittle lum
Sitting on a surb cone
chewing gubber rum
Said the big Molice Pan to the bittle lum
Aint' chew got no setter bence than
chewing gubber rum?

Wow. A blast from the past. Yes I've heard it but not in it's full, glorious, unexpurgated version. Just the part of the two dead boys. Where'd your dad go to school, by the way?

i've never heard it, but it's cute. here's another one for you:

I ran up the door and closed the stairs
Said my pajamas and put on my prayers
I turned off the bed and jumped into the light
And all because you kissed me good-night!

i think it was a perfect descrpition of how i felt after i got my first kiss.
