How many planets are there- 8, 9, or 11? What are they calling Pluto, Ceres, and UB313 and where do they fall in the "lineup?" I guess My Very Excited Mother Just Saw Uncle Nickle Pickle doesn't work anymore?

8 planets. It was offically declared on August 24, 2006, that Pluto would be classfied as a dwarf planet along with Ceres and 2003 UB313

Hi. "My Very Excited Mother Just Saw Uncle Nick" would work. But nowadays most schools are closed for the summer.

Our schools are not teaching anything about the solar system right now because unfortunately that is not part of the no child left behind curriculum. But the t.v. is teaching them that there are now nine planets.

make that 8 planets, Pluto was just demoted

They are now saying Pluot isn't a planet
